(Re-) bedding old deck hardware

Last year one of the storms in autumn led to a damage of one of the aft cleats and it was time to take care of that now. This ist what happened:

 

Well, I rebedded the new cleat whith some nice butyl-tape and look:

 

the Butyl squeezes out nicely but...

Doe! The new clamp-screw also broke immidiately on tightening the clamp down.
So I'll have to do that again, thankfully the company, where I purchased the spare-part from sent a replacement instantly. Thank you guys at Toplicht.de.
